To demonstration of an honest struggle laced with hope, trust, patience, knowing that it is bound to end; this perpetual funk is bound to come to a joyful close where it all begins to make sense.

one of my students in my afternoon phonics class is one of the girls who graduated from preschool in march (anna, top photo)
so, it is strange to teach her in formal school when i'm used to picking her up and spinning her around. the other kids are from one of my lowest level classes. i only wish these small kids would stop picking names like "Judy" and "Tom" and "Wilbur" as their English names. They just don't realize how uncool they are making themselves.
the other photo is my brand new cow pencil sharpener. do i need to say anything else?
